Also if you can put the Explorer sensor in the same relative location as it was on the Explorer sensor. I had mine in the intake behind the t-stat and it read cold until the t-stat opened then it shot up to real temp and that caused some rich conditions on warm up. Not a big deal but it...
If your cam is anywhere near stock the stock converter is great. I have a super boring 5.0 out of a Mustang, headers, EFI and it is great with the stock converter. Not sure about your shift linkage and front drive shaft that is a flaw on my install but it could be how I cut and fit the parts...
I have a single screw in my Warm hub that appears to be frozen. The other 5 came out fine. I tried rapping on the end and a little heat on the hub but no go. Before I make a mess of things anyone have a tip? These allen screws are super tough I suspect it will ruin the hub trying to remove it.
Since we are handing out advice..
1) Make sure the flywheel bolts are not too long - they can make contact and destroy stuff
2) Make a set of 3" long stud from all thread and put them in the lower bell housing bolt holes. Then when you stab the transmission in you can be sure you are pretty...

I have MegaSquirt and had a home made mount on the stock 289 front cover holding the OEM Explorer sensor until I did an Explorer serp conversion. That set up picked up electrical noise from the plugs I assume. I would get funky sensor reading and ignition drop out. I bought shielded alarm...
I do not why it just started but I can say with some good probability that it is on one side of your breather and down the valve cover because of the air moving while you are driving. A oil film mist is escaping and being blown by the air around the breather and along the valve cover.
What...
Since you have a working PCV valve that "breather" chrome thing is all air "in" I am not why oil would be spilling out of here unless it was overwhelmed by oil splash.
Do you have the room for the Mustang/Explorer tall breather like this one? This will help prevent splash from getting up the...
