    Running hot

Like FRNKSTYN, i was running hot and eventually was having over-boil issues. After chasing tail for a while with t-stats, pressure caps, etc., finally isolated a blocked radiator as the issue (pressurized overboil with a piping hot upper and lower rad hose, while radiator itself stayed cool)...

    Another LUBER in the making

I take that back...I missed four pages of the thread. This is AWESOME! Love the blue.

    Another LUBER in the making

Awesome work in your home garage -- including the spot welding. You are saving a truck that was on death's door! Your list of hardware is awesome, but that means the expensive part starts now. Will be great to watch your progress!

    LUBR 2.5” Lift Help

Color is a Jeep “Commando Green” rather than a Bronco original color, with a Ford Wimbledon White top. It is a single stage poly without clear coat to be period appropriate. I have the paint chip for 1973 “Boxwood Green Poly” and it is close, and would have really liked to have gone there….it...

    LUBR 2.5” Lift Help

LUBR on road -- THANKS to all who have helped!!! Still work to do, but body, suspension, wheels/tires, and most of interior done. WH 2.5" lift and 31X10.50 BFG's a perfect combination. Stance is great. Drives like a dream. Dialing up the castor angle was a nice touch. Many...

    LUBR 2.5” Lift Help

6 weeks longer (and a few more $$) than expected, but I am finally done with body/paint and on the road. Paul's Bilsteins + BroncoChicken's 7 degree c-bushing for a bit more positive castor were magic. Now struggling with tires. Had the original rims sandbasted and powder coated (they look...

    LUBR 2.5” Lift Help

You guys had me at 'hello' on this.....I'm ordering the TB. I was thinking the 2.5 lift would give me a couple of mm of shift. If we are measuring in inches, its all over. Will check out the pitman after this comes together.

    LUBR 2.5” Lift Help

Paul, Dave BroncoChicken, JRW -- Thanks much for the advice. Seeking JRW's stance...its perfect (as noted -- this is what the Gen1 likely would have looked like if not for the bean counters and safety office). Parts ordered from WH today. Media blast (with care) scheduled for Monday...

    LUBR 2.5” Lift Help

Guys -- I am blown away by the number of and the quality of responses. Thank you. I will get some pictures up as soon as I get a bit further along. Just made appointment to media-blast 3 layers of unfortunate paint choices from PO over the past 35 years. When completed, this Bronco will...

    LUBR 2.5” Lift Help

Started my first EB in October….its already become a wonderful disease. Working with an all-original, uncut, ’73, 302, A/T with 118k original miles -- all of it’s life in the great state of New Mexico so very dry. Trying to preserve the original drive character of the vehicle, with subtle...
