Duff's new tilt passenger seat mount

Oh, btw I had to bend the arm that holds the pin. As it came, the pin wouldn't engage/hold. Maybe it got tweeked in shipping. Quick work with a large C wrench and all was good. Just something to look out for... It's seems kinda wonky but once it's all bolted in and the seats on it all...

Duff's new tilt passenger seat mount

With the seat mount , extra shims and shipping it's north of $700. It's more of a want cause IMO it's over priced for what it is...

Duff's new tilt passenger seat mount

Can't take all the credit. Some years ago there was a post by someone else who had used the seats. IMO they are a really good fit and don't look crazy in the bronco.

I looked into that over the past year and wasn't having any luck finding one either.

Duff's new tilt passenger seat mount

Ya, they are reasonably comfortable. easy to install and mount really low to the floor so I can see out the windshield.

Duff's new tilt passenger seat mount

I could have still moved the seat forward a couple more inches for the picture. It was set with the seat trac all the way back. The factory hinge has no way to lock the seat down without the rear latch. I definitely had moments where I thinking was it worth it.

Duff's new tilt passenger seat mount

Just installed Duffs new seat mount. It's pretty straight forward install. Instructions say you may need extra shims under the leg portion of the mount. It comes with just one in the box.. I had to order 3 more and I'm still slightly low but not noticeable when u sit in the seat. There...

    351w/ZF-5/Dana 20

https://classicbroncos.com/forums/threads/never-ending-12-yr-build.322854/ Take a look here, I've got a pic of the ZF shifter from JB. Also, farther down the page I go into some detail about the set up

Never ending 12 yr build !!

Yes, I'm using the JB shifter for the transfer case. You have to clock the transfer case one hole higher to clear the ZF crossmember. It's been awhile but I recall having to modify the bolt holes for the shifter bracket. There is a post on here showing how its done. The transfer case sits...

Never ending 12 yr build !!

My bronco has basically been hiding out in my shop for years. I started a frame off in 2012 and worked on it as money allowed. I purchased it from the original owner in 1986. It had 80k at the time. It's a 72 Sport Explorer and was brown at the time. In my 30's I painted it chevy red...

Alternative options then fold an tumble pass seat?

Looking at the YJ bracket. Off the top of my head why couldn't you just get two of them. Borrow the flat surface mounting bracket from #2 and mount it in place of the curved bracket on #1. That way all four bolts mount flat to the floor.
