I bought Tesla seats and just tested wires in the harness until I found the right ones. Then made this cool switch panel. The push buttons are for seat heaters.

I feel so vulnerable. Haha. I have been restoring my Bronco for 5 years. All work has been by me and my wife. Well…..today I took it to get aligned (not with strings and jack stands). As I was leaving I felt a fatherly instinct coming on strong.
As I’m handing him the keys, I said stuff like...

Thanks for the info BG. After the pushrod and pedal adjustments it really feels good and operates/engages smoothly. Sounds like it will be fine….we’ll see.

I read on some mustang forums that people sometimes leave out the spring since it is a pain to get installed.
Seems like it is optional.

All adjusted and clutch engages at the right spot now, but that anti-rattle spring is missing……
Anybody have advice for this??

Two followups:
Assuming I can put the spring in without dropping anything, correct?
If it is gone, it probably fell into the bell housing. Anything I should be worried about?

That thing is not worth saving. Buy a new one and spend you time and patience on things that matter on the Bronco.
FYI - I spent 5 years chasing rust and fixing stuff much less rusted than that……..I became a pretty dang good sheet metal welder on my Bronco and i wouldn’t waste time on it if I...
