Thank you for the great explanation of the challenge with the AOD. Thats what I suspected and I have been looking at ways to adjust the geometry. I am in the process of planning an engine upgrade and going through the trades. Carb vs fuel injection is the latest. Since I have a 3 year old AOD...
Is anyone running an AOD with either the Holley or Edelbrock fuel injection? Any issues with adjusting the TV cable to get the transmission to shift correctly at the right engine loads?

I installed a set of 1977 axles (D44 and 9 inch big bearing) under my 1967 Bronco. The rear axle housing is a Centurion vs Banjo. I read that both housings styles came stock with the 1977. I assume Ford transitioned from the Banjo to the Centurion because it is stronger, but I cannot find much...

Any idea why oil would be leaking for the fuel pump? Its not leaking from the gasket where it attached to engine, the pump itself is leaking. I replaced the last pump thinking it was the pump, now the new pump leaks. How is oil getting up in the pump? Do I have crank case pressure pushing it in...
