I need a 9in 3rd member for my '76 thats ready to drop in and run. 3:50 gear ratio, 28 spline, Open carrier or a Posi would be nice upgrade. I'm located in Charleston, SC and I would prefer to pick up the parts if the travel distance is reasonable (<200mi). Thanks. Doug
Sorry folks I may have jumped the gun on this. I was cleaning up the garage and I thought I could sell my parts collection but I'm heading out of town for a long time and I just don't have time to unload this stuff. I'll be suspending this thread until I get back.
It's time to clear out my parts bins. Make offers.
Various wiper arms.
Under dash AC unit, no wings, unknown working condition
Heater box cut to match up to AC.
Condenser, unknown working condition.
2 Lap belts
Reman Starter, worked prior to removal.
J shift lever w/ boot and hold down plate...
Sounds like... Cough Bull$hit Cough
I had my hopes up back in 2004, now Ford is just playing with my emotions.%)
I'll maintain my "I gotta see it (in a showromm) to believe it" stance.
Congratulations bigcountry! That looks like a solid start to a project. I second the vote to keep the rusted patina look. Thanks for saving another one.
I also had the pleasure of meeting Paul at Wild Horses last year.
He makes a great ambassador for the Wild Horses brand and the Bronco community.
His tech posts are always detailed, knowlegdeable and to the point. The mile stone of reaching 16k posts on this forum has been achevieved by such...
I see a lot of useable parts! If you have the space to store them its a "no brainer" decision. I'm sure you could recoop the cost of delivery and the time to dismantle, selling a few parts quickly. Go for it if you can!
I won these at a raffle. They are installed and they work great. A very bright white light. The harness upgrade makes all the difference also.

Thanks again Tom's Bronco...
Thanks Rox! I bought the same set up for my '76 but I have yet to attempt the conversion. I want to go TRO with the new set up and I"ve been worried about the clearance issues. Post some pics.
