    SOLD '75 Denver Edition Wheeler

I am selling my 1975 Denver Edition Bronco wheeler. This truck has been the love of my life for the past 14 years. I have done many upgrades to this rig. I have it set up for wheeling but I do drive it on the street. Is it street legal? Probably not in most states but I haven’t been pulled over...

    Thought on wheel spacers

I have wheeled for six of seven years with a high quality 11/4" aluminum spacers. Never had an issue with them. I was in a similar situation. Running skinny steel wheels that I made into beadlocks. I wanted a little more stability so that was the route I went. People have talked about the added...

"Slimer" is now "Greener" and in North GA!!!

I love it!! That is the exact look I'll be after on my next rig!

    EFI Swap Thoughts

My .02. I have done multiple things twice.... Never cheaper. Bite the bullet and do it once. You can do the harness work yourself. I highly recommend just buying a complete exploder or mountaineer. If you don't use the trans now atleast you have it. I paid $700 for a complete mountaineer and...

    My Explorer EFI swap

Great build!! Love the work you have done! I'm working on a 5.0 swap as we speak. Not sure you would be able to flip the ram over 180 degrees. I think you will run into the same situation I did with the crossmember interference. I took off a section of the crossmember to mount my to the...

    Making steel half/snoop doors

The donor doors I used had a fair bit of rot on the bottom so I cut it off. I think I took 4" off the bottom. When the bottom of the door was opened up I took my measurements and built a frame on the bench. Slid it in there and stitch welded every couple inches on the top and bottom side of the...

    Making steel half/snoop doors

A couple pics. If you leave the inside of the door open you have a great storage spot for straps! :D

    Making steel half/snoop doors

When I made mine I used heavy wall 1" square tube as framework for the inside. I wanted protect when I was out wheeling. I also liked the look of keeping the exterior door handle. When you cut it just above the body line you can keep the interior handle also.

    '75 all-purpose build

The Mountaineer had a bit of an exhaust leak. I think I found out why. Lol the passenger side manifod came off in two pieces. As I was taking the lower intake off the front two studs broke off at the head. I built the stud up with weld, welded a nut on and was able to extract them. It was an...

    '75 all-purpose build

Thanks JG! I stripped some parts off the 5.0 for cleaning, modifications, and to reseal it yesterday along with getting every part out of the Mountaineer that I will need. I went to the extreme and pulled the whole engine bay harness along with the efi, O2, and trans harness. I got most of the...
