New Bronco - press conf from Ford

It's got some big wheel arches!

    high pinion Dana 44

The clearance with a Coyote is a very good question, the Coyote pan is a lot flatter up front thanks to a SBF oil pan needing clearance for the the oil pump.

    C4 swap - good deal?

C8ZP-7D027-A is the servo number, not the case number. As others have said it looks like an original Bronco C4 transmission. That style of case will always be 164 tooth bellhousing and pan fill. If you need one that price is fine. I see a Weiand intake on that engine and what looks like a PS...

Will changing motors hurt the value?

Heck we need pictures of the whole Bronco to make that decision! Like it or not early Bronco's have become big money and are considered an investment by some people. A really nice and original Bronco that has the original engine will be worth more money to those people. Trust me if I was buying...

    Different in 302/351 crank shafts

Actually the small block family started out being called Fairlane engines. This is actually normal Ford practice. Ford named the engines after the car lines they were originally designed for. Starting in 1958 with the new FE and MEL engines. FE stands for Ford Edsel, in 1958 the FE was put in...

    Different in 302/351 crank shafts

The other 1970 up exception to the 4 bolt balancer is the early Ford vans which used the 3 bolt until the new long nose design Econoline came out in 1975.

    Different in 302/351 crank shafts

Yup some cool and unusual Australian Cleveland's including 302 Cleveland engines which are what the 2 barrel closed chamber Australian heads came on. And the Australian blocks are thicker too, I know a couple of guys locally that have them.

Will changing motors hurt the value?

How original is the engine besides block and heads? Original carb, intake manifold, exhaust manifolds and distributer? All of those have date codes. As a buyer I would pay more for an original engine with all those parts being original. In any case if you swap the rebuilt engine for an...

    289 HP heads

Heads Those are real Hi-Po's, I can see the raised ridge for the valve spring. Looks like a 3H20 date code which combined with the C8ZE-B casting number probably means these heads were cast in 1973. Restorers want date codes and casting numbers that match their cars so these won't have the...

    351 from 95 E350

The van will have a Saginaw PS pump instead of the whiny Ford one. You can use an adapter to put a Mustang 302 EFI upper on the 351W lower if you want to run Ford fuel injection.

    Bronco Groups in Louisiana

Benton If we met at Sonic wouldn't bother with the trailer I am only a block and a half away! We could go to my place for adult beverages LOL.

My Blue 1967 Bronco build thread

The correct dimmer switch and I have lights ! One bulb was burned out on low beam but I happened to have a matching good Sylvania Halogen in my spare parts. The high beam indicator on the dash even works! One thing to cross off my list! Next turn signals and license plate light.

My Blue 1967 Bronco build thread

Wow it's been 3 years since I have updated this! I had some title issues and Scrappie has been mostly sitting used occasionally for moving trailers around my yard. Then a previous owner I had kept in contact with turned up the correct title. It took some work but as of yesterday the Bronco is...
