OK seems there is another issue. When i accelerate it bogs down..thought was too lean so I fattened it up. but today it was doing it again and cant get it up the driveway. I noticed that when i was adjusting mixture some gas dripped off the accelerator/pump gasket filter that started all this...

just an update. I was trying to screw on that right mixture screw and moved the vacuum line I noticed it revved up. So looked at one of the caps it had a slight crack. went ahead and replaced that as i moved on the line it revvs up.. still kind of does it so not sure if a crack. Might replace...

ok I think I got the right one. It has the locking nut then a non flat head/phillips hea screw/ i turned with socket and bumped the idle up just enough. it did stay idling. Only time it conked out was after driving and stopping to pull in driveway. Not sure if im masking the problem or fixing...

Correct it just wont stay running at idle. It feels like its right on the line. but then starts to conk out. It has a slight exhaust leak at the pipe into the muffler but it ran fine before that. so im ruling that out. PO said it went to shop for carb work before i bought it to get it running...

so next step to adjust idle? To be honest I dont even know which screw to turn

well i found an open vacuum line but recapped it still didnt work. It sounded like it wanted to then started dying out again. ill post the pics i took of the carb after was warmed up. Also the throttle is in the top hole. Will post in a second.

Going to go work on it now. Im going to make sure that connector is contacting and check the choke. thanks!
