Automotive Handbook Author: Robert Bosch Published: October 2000 by Bentley Publishers Description: In every field there's a single, indispensable reference work that sets the standard by which other books are measured. The new 4th Edition of the "Automotive Handbook" is the standard for practical, concise and illuminating explanations of the design and operation of automotive systems. Its lucid presentation of both basic and complex automotive principles, engineering theory, and applied mathematics is without peer.
Expensive, but an excellent desk reference that is set up and reads like a dictionary ... brief descriptions of automotive systems and operating principles that are easy to conceptually understand. Has a degree of engineering theory and mathmatical formula's where appropriate. It's also good for resolving those technical arguments on concepts or operating principles that typically result in someone buying beer. This is a first class reference that is worth owning.
